“Gov. Tony Evers and UW President Tommy Thompson should use their power and influence to design intensive educational programs for both college and grade school students showing them how to live a healthy lifestyle to prevent serious illness and death from COVID-19. The CDC recognizes that underlying medical conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, substance abuse, etc., are major risk factors for serious illness and death from COVID-19. These are diet and lifestyle-related conditions that should be addressed through intensive education.
“In my opinion, intensive educational programs should largely follow Dr. Roger Walsh’s ‘8 Therapeutic Lifestyle Change’ (TLC) ideas as found on the Integral Health Resources website and elsewhere, and Dr. Robert Lustig’s ideas expressed in his book ‘The Hacking of the American Mind: The Science Behind the Corporate Takeover of Our Bodies and Brains.’ Dr. Lustig is the leader behind the war on refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup and metabolic syndrome, and appeared on the 60 Minutes program ‘Is Sugar Toxic?’
“Our government and mainstream news media is heavily influenced by the pharmaceutical and junk food industry which has zero interest in educating the public in regards to healthy living without their products. Hence, vaccines and other drugs are overly emphasized as the solution and legitimate alternatives are neglected—even suppressed. Pharmaceutical drugs and highly addictive junk foods are promoted and advertised using crafty, sophisticated techniques designed by highly trained psychologists. They’re out to hook you: mind, body and soul.”
